Congratulations to all! Many thanks to Tracey and Kristen for their preparation of the Dancers, coaching and travelling companionship. Thanks also to Anne and Sherry who took over Tracey's dancers at SHCC, and to Brenda and Peggy who took over Kristen's responsibilities. Your special help is greatly appreciated.

Entry forms for Competitions in Cornwall, Kingston, Montreal and Ottawa will be available soon. Please check with your teacher before entering any Competition.

News and Announcements
We were sorry to hear that Meghan Balderston has had another fall, playing basketball. We hope you are on the mend and will return to our school soon. Stay away from the basketball court!!

A local Phisotherapist, who is also a dancer will visit our school on Saturday, April 8th from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Her workshop will be available to all British Medallion dancers and Senior Teachers who are free. There will be no charge for her workshop. We will receive notes on her presentation with useful exercises to increase core strength, prevent and work around injuries etc. A flyer will be posted next week.

Those who did not receive last weeks newsletter (#12, on pink) will find it in their mailboxes on Monday.

The Ceilidh
- Please read the Ceilidh letter of thanks!
- Please check the lost and found items for anything you may have left in Alymer on March 4th. Unclaimed items will be disposed very soon to the salvation army or similar.
- We did not have a meeting last week as there were so few people here! We hope to meet on April 1st (next week) at 12:15 p.m. in the board room
- Please let Katharine know if you cannot attend and give her your written notes, comments, suggestions, etc. so that they may be kept in the file - to produce an even better ceilidl next time.
- Thanks again to everyone for your fabulous support for this event.

Classes over Easter
There will be regular classes on Easter Saturday, April 15th. If you are going to be away, please notify you Teacher and arange for makup classes.

Scotland Trip 2006
There will NOT be a meeting today. Please meet with Tracey in the lobby at either 9:00 a.m. or around 10:30 a.m. to giver her your cheques for the deposity for the travelling.

Examinations
Please check the Exams Page for detailed info. - On the Examination table you will find the EXAMINATION MASTER LIST (first draft). Dancers are listed by class, with the subject, costs (entry fees, Piper and Hall) and a $ total.
- Each dancer received a covering letter - examination letter #1 - with his/her individual proposed examination list and costs.
- Please check all the details carefully - especially spelling of the Dancer's name so that mistakes are not made on the certificates!
- Please make changes on the the Master List, after consulting Katharine or your teacher.
- Rehearsals will be on Sundays, March 26th and April 2nd and 9th at SHCC.
- Changes/updates for April 2nd and 9th will be posted next week. - If you are unable to attend your rehearsal, please notify your Teacher as soon as possible. Alternate arrangements may be made. - Please be ready at least 15 minutes ahead of your rehearsal time.
- Register, pay your reheasal fee, then change, warm up, check the information available and prepare yourself mentally for some good dancing practice.
- Cheques, payable to Katharine Robinson School of Highland Dancing, or cash, for the rehearsal fees should be placed in an envelope with the Dancer's name and the amount written upon it.
- You were given the exam Rehersal Schedule last week - please check exams page for changes. - Help is need from Parents to take money at these reheasals - please see the sign up sheets - and perhaps you can help while your dancer is rehearsing.
- Review your costumes and outfits with your Teacher - what you need - what you lack - how to obtain items. You should be fully kitted out by April 9th.
- All primary and Junior dancers may make a small card or craft for presentation to the Exmainer (optional). Something not breakable please. Put your name, age, date of examination and school name on the card or craft.
- Your teacher will discuss extra lessons or practices with you/your parent.
- remeber to eat and sleep well, exercise (cerfully!) in other activities or sports and practice, practice, practice at home!
- Consistency of class attendance, and of effort will make a big differnce for you in the weeks ahead and at Examination time.
