Configuring Forte Free Agent
Forte Free Agent is a popular free news reader program with binary attachment/multi-part message handling. The main Free Agent window:

• The first time Free Agent runs it will prompt for
  • the news server (news.mondenet.com)
  • the mail server (mail.mondenet.com)
  • your email address
  • your full name.
• Click ok, and Free Agent will prompt to download the list of newsgroups (if you are connected)

• To access the preferences, click on the Options menu and Choose General Preferences
• Click User information:

• Click the System tab to enter the server names:

• The Online Tab has the time-out settings:

• Auto Dial settings are found on the Dial-up tab:

• By default Free Agent will attempt to download all of a group's headers at once. You can go to the Online menu and choose Sample Headers From Selected Groups and download a few messages at a time:
